1 9 7 1 - Ariovaldo Skrapec Hit Parade

Ariovaldo Skrapec was a gentleman I met in Sao Paulo when I moved back into the city after spending most of the 80s and 90s living abroad. He worked as a clerk at a local government agency but his real passion was music and its various shapes and forms. Ariovaldo used to compile a list of the best selling records at the end of each year.

Here is Skrapec's 1971 list of the most popular singles, extended-plays & albums. I don't know exactly Skrapec's method to get his list done but I can assure you his list did not differ too much from the 'official' ones published by magazines such as Intervalo, Amiga, Melodias, Revista do Radio etc.
